Suzanne Marsden

I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil and have since continued to embrace all forms of creative expression. Recently I’ve enjoyed exploring acrylics with the Art Mad Artists.

My interests include: road trips to visit friends, reading fantasy novels and role-playing tabletop game systems. The subjects of my paintings tend to reflect my love of the East Coast, as well as the imaginary creatures that populate the books I enjoy.

I love group art challenges and cooperative creativity, which I find galvanizes me to explore my art in new ways. Along with a background in animation and comics, it was a natural step to found the Ottawa Comic Jam group in 2009.
